23-year old Michelle Gildenhuys from Kraaifontein, Cape Town, will represent South Africa at the upcoming Miss Supranational 2012 finals in Sopot, Poland, September 15th.  Standing 173 cm in height, Michelle is a former Miss Atlantico Internacional and professional model.  South African Beauties holds the rights of Miss Supranational in South Africa. Miss Supranational Iraq 2012

22-year old Susan Dervishi, a singer, model and music producer, will represent Iraq at the Miss Supranational 2012 competition to be held at the Opera Lesna in Sopot, Poland, September 15th.  The 168 cm tall model was elected on June 23rd.(Global Beauties)

Miss Universe Sri Lanka 2012

Sabrina Herft (photo) was crowned Miss Universe Sri Lanka 2012 during a ceremony held at the Hilton Colombo on Sunday, July 22nd. Sabrina will now represent the country at the Miss Universe finals in a location and date yet to be announced. Daily Mirror

Miss Supranational Ecuador 2012

20-year old Zulay Castillo Velasco, from Esmeraldas, will represent Ecuador in the 4th edition of the Miss Supranational beauty contest to be held in Sopot, Poland, on September 15th.

Standing 175 cm in height, Zulay speaks Spanish and English and was a runner-up in the Miss Ecuador 2012 competition held in late March.(GB)

Miss USA FLORIDA 2012

Michelle Aguirre (Miss Broward County Fair USA), a 19-year old model and student of Cuban descent from Hialeah was crowned Miss Florida USA 2013 during the annual competition held at the Bailey Concert Hall in Fort Lauderdale on July 14th.

In 2nd place was Miss West Broward USA (Jessica Santiago), in 3rd place Miss Miami Carnival USA (Damaris Aguilar), 4th place was Miss Central Florida USA (Jaclyn Raulerson) and in 5th place was Miss Delray Beach USA (Connor Boss) who made headlines during the week for being legally blind.

Michelle who stands 173 cm in height will represent Florida at the Miss USA 2013 competition in Las Vegas, next year.
